The DV uses the same half silver ribbon and silver plated RCA plugs as the analog AVI and also uses more complex and more effective networks than the DIV. The DV uses five networks. The sound of the DV is similar to the analog AVI (in their respective domains) in that it has more immediacy and presence than the DIV and also conveys the music with more weight and blacker backgrounds.
