The DV uses 500 micro-inch ribbon and also uses more and more complex networks than the DIV. This results in more effective jitter reduction that brings more of the subtle musical detail captured by the production team at the original recording session.The DV uses five networks. Additional jitter reduction gives the DV a more immediate sound with greater presence and also conveys the music with more weight and blacker backgrounds.
